John Fredrick Williams, 67, of Inverness, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021, at his home.

John was born December 20, 1954, in Bristol, Virginia, to John Harrison Williams and Ruth Marie Rust Williams. He worked for SuperValu in Indianola for 16 years prior to buying B-Quick in Greenville, which he owned and operated for many years. After retiring and selling the store, he worked at Gresham Service Station in Indianola. John loved golfing, fishing, and playing Candy Crush. He was a man of few words, but always gave the best unbiased advice especially to his daughters. John was a devoted Tennessee Volunteer football fan. He was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church in Indianola.

John was preceded in death by his father, John Harrison Williams.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Debbie Miller Williams; mother, Ruth Ladd of Leland; three daughters, Tamara Williams Rozier of Greenwood, Michelle (Matt) Griffin of Inverness, and Tammy (Olen) Allen of Indianola; brother, Bobby Williams of Bristol, Tennessee; sister, Margaret Ann Williams (Michael) Thomas of Leland; six grandchildren, Brantley Rodgers, Will Rozier, Jackson Rozier, Matthew (Haley) Griffin, Amber Kirsten Allen, and John Wesley Allen; and one great granddaughter, Alice Jade Griffin.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, at Eastwood Baptist Church in Indianola. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 with Rev. Ron Burch officiating. Burial will be Thursday, December 30, 2021, in Susong Cemetery in Bristol, Tennessee. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
