Johnnie Lynell Reynolds Sheedy, 55, of Merigold, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Indianola Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Indianola.

She was born December 1, 1961 in Indianola, and was the daughter of Johnny and Lovey Fowler Reynolds. Lynell worked for the Mississippi Department of Human Services for 27 years until her retirement in 2012. She worked at The Southern Grill in Cleveland for a year until going to work for Walgreens Pharmacy in Cleveland, retiring in 2015 due to illness. Lynell loved Nascar, bowling, football, but most of all coffee. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Lynell was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Christy Lynn Vance.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, William Allen Sheedy; two daughters, Jennifer Vance Etheridge and her husband Chris of Inverness and Jessica Blair Vance Strickland and her husband Phillip of Merigold; step-daughter, Valerie Sheedy Beavers and her husband Tony of Cleveland, Tennessee; three sisters, Sue Kimble and her husband Ronald of Carthage, Jane Moore Howell of Bossier City, Louisiana, and Barbara Bonnell of Grenada; eight beloved grandchildren, Brianna, Hunter, Peyton, Kohle, Chase, Brooklyn, Blake, and Cadey Love; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 12:00 pm until the 2:00 pm funeral service at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola is in charge of arrangements.
