Johnny Abert Westbrook, 71, of Belzoni, passed away at his home Monday, December 2, 2019.

He was born September 20, 1948, in Lowndes County, to Lawrence and Grace Todd Westbrook.  Johnny graduated from Holmes Community College with an Associates Degree in Machinery and Welding. He owned and operate Westbrook Towing Service and later Westbrook, LLC. Johnny loved woodworking and gardening. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Belzoni.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Grace Westbrook and his son, Jason Westbrook.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Deborah Burnley Westbrook of Belzoni; two brothers, Paul Westbrook and his wife Barbara of Bay City, Texas, and Kenneth Westbrook and his wife Linda of Jacksonville, Florida; and one sister, Linda Ferguson of Holly Pond, Alabama.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 7, 2019, from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
