Julia Catherine Bell Rand, 65, of Belzoni, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Baptist Hospital in Yazoo City.

Julia was born October 29, 1959, in Indianola, to Malcolm Davis Bell, Sr. and Gladys Beatrice Norris Bell. She attended school in Belzoni and attended Mississippi Delta Community College. Julia loved to travel and enjoyed the outdoors. Her favorite times were traveling to the Ozarks and Niagara Falls with her mother. She loved her family deeply.

Julia was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Kenneth Lane Holloway, Jr.; her grandson, Jordan Gage Holloway; and her sister, Melody Bell Cantrell.

She is survived by her longtime love, Dr. Harsh Doshi of Lexington; two sons, Richard Dewayne Holloway (Tammy) of Grenada and Thomas Holloway of Belzoni; her daughter, Crystal Lynn Holloway of Rolling Fork; her brother, Malcolm Davis Bell, Jr. (Lisa) of Louise; her sister, Barbara Bell Cox (Brad) of Southaven; her brother-in-law, Jimmy Cantrell of Belzoni; four grandchildren, Ava Belle Holloway, Alyssa Holloway, Les Williams (Ravyn), and Anna Williams; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with the arrangements.
