Kenneth Wayne Sears, 53, of Carthage, died Monday, March 12, 2018 at his sister's home.

He was born in Tucson, Arizona and was the son of Kenneth Paul and Tabatha Sears. Kenny moved to Indianola in 1980 and worked as a diesel mechanic for Tackett Farms and Oakes Trucking. Due to declining health, he moved to Carthage in 2015. He was a loving son, brother, father, and grandfather. Kenny was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Paul Sears; and his best friend, Jimmy Pate.

Kenny is survived by his mother, Tabatha Sears of Carthage; son, Jesse Wayne Sears of Nashville, Tennessee; daughter, Cassie Sears of Indianola; brother, Eddie Sears of Carthage; sisters, Patty Ingram and Sandra Davis, both of Carthage; and 2 grandchildren, Bella Harper and Nolan Sears.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 16 at 11:00 am at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola.
