Memorial services for Larry Eugene Steed, age 68, of Vicksburg will be at 2:00 p.m. and visitation at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6 at Burton Funeral Home, Indianola. He passed away Friday, January 1 at Merit Health/River Region Hospital. Larry was born on November 1, 1947 in Cleveland and grew up in Indianola. He was the son of the late Emmett Lee Steed Jr. and the late Minnie Jefcoat. Larry loved spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing and being outside in his yard and garden. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Patricia Knight Steed of Moorhead; Step-mother Doris Steed of Indianola; two daughters, Stacey Springfield and Natalie Elwart, both of Vicksburg; four grandchildren, Dillon, Steed, Spencer and Selby. He also leaves behind two sisters, Barbara Smith (Don) of Tupelo, Donna Brasier (Larry) of Indianola and one brother, Charlie Steed (Sheila) of Sherman, MS.
