Laura K. Watkins, affectionately known as "Tenny", 56, of Greenville, passed away Friday, September 18, 2015, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. She was born January 12, 1959, and was the daughter of W. B and Lucille Allison Knight. Tenny was a graduate of North West Mississippi Community College and Mississippi Delta Community College where she obtained degrees in Medical Laboratory Technology and Cosmetology. She was a member of Phi Theta Kappa while at MDCC. Over the years, Tenny was employed with W. S. Witte Memorial Hospital, Delta Regional Medical Center, Chicot Memorial Hospital, and North West Mississippi Regional Medical Center. She was active in 4-H and Mississippi Delta Horse Show Association. Tenny loved fishing and hunting. She loved working with horses and was a very talented horse trainer. Her sons fondly remember her being a "baseball mom" during their childhood.

Tenny was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Jim Patton and wife Sonya and Addison Watkins all of Greenville; sister, Judy Randall and husband Bobby of Indianola; and grandchildren, Mason Lane Patton, Ana Clayton Scroggins, Madison Elaine Watkins, and Aubrey Diana Watkins.

The family will receive friends, Monday, September 21, 2015 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Burton Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Indianola City Cemetery, all under the direction of Burton Funeral Home.
