Lawrence Earl Milan, 72, of Leland, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Sharkey Issaquena Nursing Home in Rolling Fork.

Lawrence was born August 11, 1948, in Pace, to Elbert Charles Milan ad Estelle Anne Sisson Milan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a very hard worker. Lawrence thought everyone always needed to be working on something. He was a mechanic at USG for 38 years prior to his retirement in 2006.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jerry Milan; and nine siblings.

Lawrence is survived by his wife, Linda Matthews Milan of Leland; three children, Jr. (Mona) Milan of Leland, Ranee (Heath) Manning of Leland, and Tammy (Dylan) Davidson of Panama City, Florida; three sisters, Brenda McGaugh of Mendenhall, Linda Roach of Mendenhall, and Nora White of Jackson; and seven grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm, Monday, June 14, 2021, at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, June 14, 2021, at Stoneville Cemetery in Leland with Rev. Jon Doler officiating. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
