Layla Marie Haynes of Indianola passed away July 11, 2018 at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

She was born July 11, 2018 in Jackson to Paul Allen Haynes, Jr., and Ann Newman.

Layla was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Sheila Newman.

She is survived by her parents, Paul Haynes and Ann Newman of Indianola; paternal grandparents, Barry and Brenda Haynes Tharp of Indianola; and Paul Haynes, Sr. of Sidon; maternal grandparents, Horace and Charlotte Newman of Tennessee; brother, Braiden Haynes of Indianola; aunt, Bunnye Kirby of Tennessee; uncle, Matt Tharp of Indianola; cousins, Symone, Ariekah, and Anamarie Ngare of Tennessee and Drew and Austin Tharp of Indianola.

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 9:00 am until the 9:30 am funeral service at Pilgrims Rest Church of God in Indianola. Burial will follow in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
