Linda Sue Maritt Yarbrough, 75, of Moorhead, passed away peacefully, Friday, February 28, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Linda was born August 28, 1949, in Kansas, to Daniel Maritt and Margaret Maritt. She was raised in Greenville and graduated from Greenville High School. Linda was the Administrator of Humphreys County Nursing Center in Belzoni for 35 years prior to her retirement. She was kind, patient, carefree, and had unwavering faith. Linda enjoyed gardening and feeding the birds and squirrels. She was a member of Moorhead Garden Club and Moorhead Methodist Church.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Maritt; mother, Margaret Ann Pearce Hinkle; and her husband, Tommy Yarbrough.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Yarbrough Street and her husband Brian of Greenville and two grandchildren, Maritt Carroll Street, Addison Willow Smith.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 3, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, at Moorhead Methodist Church. The memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm with Rev. Linda Malone officiating. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
