Lois Hill Coleman, 87, of Indianola, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016 at North Sunflower Medical Center in Ruleville.  She was born March 26, 1928 in Tillatoba, Mississippi, and was the daughter of Thomas and Mary Hill.  Lois worked for Modern Tool and Die for 12 years.  She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Indianola.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J. D. "Buddy" Coleman; brothers, Charles, Joel, William, and Thomas Hill; and sisters, Nannie Mae Kerr and Agnes Sullivan.  She leaves to cherish her memory sons, James D. "Donnie" Baker and wife Dorothy of Indianola and Harvey C. Baker and wife Pam of Hattiesburg; brothers, Eldred Hill of Fort Worth, Texas and Wayne Hill of Hardy, Arkansas; sister, Bobbie Hill of Eupora, Mississippi; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 9, 2016 from 2:00 pm until the 3:00 pm funeral service at Second Baptist Church in Indianola.  Burial will follow in Indianola City Cemetery, all under the direction of Burton Funeral Home in Indianola.
