Lois Ann Wright Vanlandingham passed away peacefully Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Madison County Nursing Home in Canton at the age of eighty-six.

Ann was born October 13, 1935, in Winona, to Jack and Cora Fowler Wright. She was a homemaker and a loving grandmother to Heath and Jared. Her hobbies included reading, her favorite being the Bible prophecy. She also enjoyed birdwatching and playing with her pets.  Ann loved life and loved friends and family. She kept in touch, by phone, with all ole friends in Indianola.

Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Cora Wright and her brother, Herbert Wright.  She is survived by her husband Clint Vanlandingham; daughter, Rhonda Adams Bennett (Reggie) of Madison; brother, Willis Wright (Teresa) of Batesville; two grandchildren, Jared Vanlandingham (Debra) of Wilmington, North Carolina and Heath Hendon of Chicago, Illinois; and one great granddaughter, Rylee Vanlandingham.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 10, 2021, from 1:00 pm until 1:30 pm at New Hope Methodist Church, 393 New Hope Rd, Winona, MS. The funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm at the church with Rev. Roy Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Burton Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
