Louis Anthony Labella, 86, of Rienzi and formerly of Indianola, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 27, 2017 at his home.
He was born May 6, 1931 in Indianola, and was the son of Carl Anthony Labella and Christine Renaldo Labella. Louis worked at Ayres Delta Implement as the parts salesman for many years until his retirement. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Louis was preceded in death by his parents; wife and mother of his children, Eleanor Tanfani Labella; second wife, Audrey Labella; son, Freddy Labella; and three brothers, Anthony "Tootsie" Labella, Sonny Labella, and Carl Labella, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Connie Labella Lindsey and her husband Rick of New Albany; four sons, Mike Labella and his wife Judy of New Albany, Sammy Labella and his wife Tammy of Monroeville, Alabama; Johnny Labella of Pearl and Tim Labella and his wife Amanda of Thompson Station, Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Ann Gardner Labella of Indianola; sister, Catherine Ann Moreland of Texarkana, Arkansas; ten grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Graveside services will immediately follow at Indianola City Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola is in charge of arrangements.
