Manuel Harris, 47, of Greenville and formerly of Indianola, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020, at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville after an extended illness.

Manuel was born September 26, 1972, in Indianola, to Nathan Carl Harris and Dominga Arriaga Harris. He worked as a mechanic for Sunflower County at the bus barn. Manuel was a hardworking and loving father and was a great mechanic. He was a member of God's Harvest Church of God in Indianola.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Manuel is survived by five children, Manuel Harris, Jr. and his wife Madison of Philadelphia, Mississippi, Brandon Harris of Cleveland, Samuel Harris of Indianola, Madison Harris, and Brooklyn Harris both of Merigold; two brothers, Nathan Harris of Leland, and Jimmy Joe Harris and his wife Tracey of Indianola; two sisters, Rose Flemings of Isola, and Mimi Agado of Sunflower; and five grandchildren, Layne Harris, Sydney Grace Harris, Sadie Gatlin Harris, Malaysia Harris, and Skylar Miller.

The family will have a graveside service Saturday, June 6, 2020, at Indianola City Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
