Martha Dodson Willcutt, 90, of Indianola, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024, at Indianola Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

Martha was born December 5, 1933, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, to Bailey Frank Dodson and Lillian Lois Wright Dodson. She married Grady Willcutt and together they raised their family in Sunflower. She retired from the US Postal Service having served as a postal clerk for many years. Martha loved doing needlepoint, word search puzzles, and cooking. She will long be remembered for her wonderful cooking. Martha was a social butterfly who was very much a people person. She loved spending time with her friends and family.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 68 years, Grady Willcutt; two sons, Grady Willcutt, Jr. and Don Willcutt; daughter, Joanne Willcutt; four grandchildren; nine brothers; and one sister.

She is survived by her son, Eddie Willcutt of Belzoni; two daughters, Gail Sneed and Barbara Warden both of Jeffersonville, Indiana; eleven grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 1, 2024, from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon at Burton Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at noon at Burton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Indianola Memorial Gardens. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
