Mary E. Barajas, 90, formerly of Childress, TX, was received by her Heavenly Father on Good Friday, April 10 ^th , 2020.

Mary was born on November 4, 1929 in Chicago, IL. She enjoyed gardening, the company of her pets and sewing & crocheting. She was known for her exceptional cooking skills. All who knew her, enjoyed her homemade tortillas, spanish rice, enchiladas and tamales.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 72 years, Petronelo "Pete" Barajas.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren & great-great grandchildren.

Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
