Mary Elizabeth Brewer Jackson, 99, of Inverness, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville.

Mrs. Jackson, fondly known as "Aunt Baby" was born April 23, 1919 and was the daughter of Watson Brewer, Sr. and Betty Smith Brewer.  She worked for many years as a secretary for various companies.  Mrs. Jackson lived in Hernando for many years prior to moving to Inverness in 2010. She loved sewing, knitting, and making pottery. Aunt Baby was very creative and talented with her hands. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Inverness.

Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rightor Jackson; sister, Susie Brewer Reed; and brother, William Watson Brewer, Sr.

She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at 4:00 pm at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Inverness. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
