Mary Kathryn Robertson, 29, of Winona, formerly of Indianola, was tragically taken from this life Friday, August 16, 2019 at her home.

Mary Kathryn, affectionately known as "Kat", was born November 28, 1989 in Paragould, Arkansas and was the daughter of David Hubert Robertson and Linda Anne Fitts Robertson. She was a graduate of Indianola Academy and she attended Mississippi State University. Kat was very organized and loved to cook and clean. She enjoyed fishing and stargazing. Kat was a very loyal friend to all of her friends. She always loved the underdog and tried to help people to a fault. Her most trusted friend and companion was "Coco", a teddy bear that her mother gave her when she was sick as a child. Kat carried Coco everywhere with her and eventually passed him down to her children. She loved her family, especially her children. Kat will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was a member of Winona Church of Christ in Winona.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Fitts Robertson; maternal grandfather, Earsell Fitts; and paternal grandmother, Mary Lou Robertson.

Kat is survived by her father, David Robertson of Indianola; son, Christian Lee Locke of Winona; daughter, Alyssa Anne Hutchinson of Cascilla; paternal grandfather, Hubert Robertson of Indianola; maternal grandmother, Sue Fitts of Greenville; numerous aunts and uncles; and a host of cousins.

The family will receive friends Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Graveside services will follow in Indianola City Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
