Graveside services for Mary Helen McClain White, 90, of Inverness, will be at 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 12, 2021, at Southside Cemetery in Inverness. She passed away Monday, December 6, 2021, at South Sunflower County Hospital in Indianola. Mary was born February 9, 1931, in Carrollton to Cyrus Benford McClain and Mary Velma Loden McClain. She was a homemaker. Mary enjoyed sewing and was very talented at it. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Lewis Covington White. Mary is survived by her daughter, Mary Lynn White of Inverness; granddaughter, Amanda Lynn Simpson (Kevin Braughton) of Northport, Alabama; and two great grandchildren Jorden Rayn Braughton and Daniel Alexander Braughton. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
