Michael Keith Hoke, affectionately known as Mike, 58, of Belzoni, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Humphreys County Nursing Center.

He was born March 15, 1959 in Belzoni and was the son of Warren Earl Hoke, Sr., and Mildred Louise Luster Hoke. Mike was a lifelong resident of Belzoni and worked for many years in the catfish farming industry. He was an avid sports fan and loved the Ole Miss Rebels. Mike also loved music of all kinds especially blues and country and spent many hours entertaining the other nursing home residents with his music collection.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jerry Wayne Hoke.

He is survived by two brothers, Earl Hoke, Jr. and wife Barbara, and Jack Hoke and wife Roxie, all of Belzoni.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 8, 2017 from 2:00 pm until the 3:00 pm funeral service at Gooden Lake Baptist Church in Belzoni. Burial will follow in Gooden Lake Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola is in charge of arrangements.
