Michael Alan Martin, 66, of Vicksburg, and formerly of Greenville, passed away Friday, December 9, 2022, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg.

Michael was born August 3, 1956, in Greenville, to Milton Alonzo and Mary Louise Vance Martin. He worked in electronics, repairing televisions and later worked at Rex in Greenville. Michael loved music, electronics, movies, technology, and most importantly, grilling steaks. He was convinced he could grill a steak better than anyone. Michael was also an inventor, always coming up with stuff.

He was preceded in death by his father, Milton Alonzo Martin; mother, Louise Martin Acy; stepmother, Ruth Martin; stepfather, J.K. Acy; and brother, Lloyd Martin.

Michael is survived by one daughter, Maggie Moore of Calgary, Canada and niece, Mickie Michelle Wilson-Martin of New Orleans, Louisiana.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, December 18, 2022, at Union Church of Christ Cemetery in Carroll County. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
