Minnie Geneva Weeks of Frierson, Louisiana went to be with God on February 22, 2021 at the age of 95. She will be prepared at Rose Neath South to be transferred to Burton Funeral Home in Indianola, Mississippi for funeral services on February 25, 2021. She will be buried in Itta Bena Cemetery in Itta Bena, Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Melvin Weeks; sons, Melvin Lee, David, Emmett, and Roy; one grandson, Faron; one great grandson, Bubba Martin Jr.; one daughter in law, Sheila; four brothers; and two sisters.

Minnie is survived by two sons, Tommy and Bobby of Frierson, LA; one sister, Jo McCarty of West Monroe, LA; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; some great great grandchildren; and three daughters in law, Carol, Linn, and Judy. All who loved and will miss her very much.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
