Monica Roberts Haughton, 39, of Indianola, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 in Indianola. Monica was born on December 20, 1975 and was the daughter of Jerry Roberts and Ruthie Bullard Smith.  She was a member of Mt. Zion Church of God.

Monica was preceded in death by her grandparents and her mother.  She leaves to cherish her memory her father, Jerry Roberts of Indianola; husband, Ivan Haughton of Indianola; son, Cody McClain Roberts of Southaven; step-daughters, Felicia Haughton Poe (Austin) of Grenada, Ashley Haughton McCrary (Cody) of Southaven; brother, W. A. Melton (Christi) of Como; sisters, Laura Melton Smith of Canton and Tammy Cox Dailey (Jimmy) of Madison.

The family will receive friends Friday, October 9, 2015 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am memorial service at Burton Funeral Home. Bro. Pete Roncali will officiate. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.burtonfuneralhome.net
