Myrtle Rule Winters, 90, of Indianola, passed away peacefully at her home, with her family by her side, Wednesday, December 2, 2015. Myrtle was born December 26, 1924 in Vaiden, to Jessie May and Mary Lowery Rule.

Myrtle worked for Modern Line Products for 28 years until her retirement. She was a member of Second Baptist Church where she was a former member of WMU.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents; son, Roland Thomas Winters; and sister Ruby Mae Cieutae. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Barbara Winters Russell and husband Jimmy of Indianola; fourteen grandchildren; thirty two great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends, Friday, December 4, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Burton Funeral Home, Indianola. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11:00 am at Second Baptist Church, Indianola. Burial will follow in Indianola Memorial Gardens, all under the direction of Burton Funeral Home.
