Nadaline Bobo Melton Johnson, 91, of Inverness, and formerly of Anguilla, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022, at her home.

Nadaline was born September 11, 1930, in North Mississippi to Johnny and Jeffie Hopper Bobo. She and her two sisters were known as "The Bobo Girls" in Anguilla where all three were standout basketball players. Nadaline enjoyed gardening, playing Rummy and most of all playing SkipBo. She enjoyed SkipBo so much that she taught all her grandchildren how to play so they could play together. Nadaline was a devoted member of Anguilla Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Melton; husband, Benjamin Johnson; and two sisters, Del McIntire and Ruby Maureen McIntyre.

Nadaline is survived by four daughters, Susan Stevens of Inverness, Patricia (Jimmy) Langley of Lula, JoAnn Ware of Hattiesburg, and Debra Wilson of Virginia; devoted niece, Sarah Cranford of Anguilla; 13 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 11 great - great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm, Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Anguilla Baptist Church. The funeral service will begin at 2:30 pm with Rev. Jimmy Porter officiating. Burial will follow in Golden Link Cemetery in Anguilla. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude or Anguilla Baptist Church.
