Patsy Lanelle Tate Rowe, 82, of Indianola, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019, at The Arbor in Ridgeland.

Patsy was born March 6, 1937, in Lexington to Henry Hudson Tate and Clara Kathleen Smith Tate. She worked as a buyer for Lewis Grocer Company for 34 years prior to her retirement in 2000. Patsy was a very sweet lady that was completely devoted to her family. She always enjoyed listening to Gaither music and loved crafting. The last trip she and her husband took was to Gatlinburg to attend the Gaither Homecoming. Patsy also served as the Family Support Coordinator while the National Guard Unit from Indianola was deployed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, H.H. Tate and Clara  Kathleen Smith Tate and her sister, Virginia Tate Hughes.

Patsy is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jack D. Rowe of Indianola; son, John T. Rowe and his wife Sheri of Madison; two daughters, Diana Lynn Rowe Hays of Phoenix, Arizona, and Tanya E. Rowe Rass and her husband Kurt of Brandon; sister, Janie Delores Tate Wheeler and her husband Mason of Brookings, South Dakota; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 20, 2019, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Burton Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at Burton Funeral Home with Dr. Guy Burke officiating. Burial will follow in Indianola City Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
