Patricia Ann Blount Walker, 80, of Indianola, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at her home.

Patsy was born October 11, 1942, in Indianola, to James Albert and Gladys Downs Blount. She graduated from Indianola High School in 1960, and attained her Bachelor of Science in Education from Delta State University. Patsy worked as a bookkeeper for K & D Agri Systems in Cleveland for 15 years and then worked for Delta Wholesale Hardware in Cleveland prior to her retirement. She enjoyed working in her yard and cutting her grass. Patsy played tennis when she was younger and it developed into a lifelong love of hers. She was always rescuing all types of animals. Patsy loved to read and passed on the love of books to her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Floyd Walker; and brother, Douglas Thweat Pentecost.

Patsy is survived by one daughter, LeAnne Woods of Indianola; two grandchildren, Shelby Chudy Fulgham and Katherine Chudy; and three great grandchildren, Tyler Reed Fulgham, Madyson Loren Fulgham, and Spencer Andrew Chudy.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
