Peggy Holloway McMillian, 78, of Belzoni, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026, at her home.
She was born August 18, 1948, to Selma Quincy Holloway and Bessie DuBois Holloway. Peggy was a lovable, kind, accepting, loving, and caring woman who deeply cherished her family. She loved her entire family and treasured the time she spent with them. Her grandchildren were number one in her life, and she found great joy in loving and supporting them. She also enjoyed watching her favorite television shows. Peggy was a member of First Baptist Belzoni. She worked at Jockey International for many years. Later, she worked at Fishco for more than 10 years prior to her retirement.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Jerrol McMillian. She also leaves behind her daughters, Nesie Farmer and her husband David, and Jeri Lynn Bufkin and her husband Bryan; four grandsons, Kimble Farmer, Drew Farmer, Garret Farmer, and Cruise Bufkin; and six great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her brother, David Holloway, and her sister, Martha Jean Daniels.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Selma Holloway and Bessie Holloway; her brothers, Wayne Holloway, Gerald Holloway, Douglas Holloway, James Holloway; and her sister, Janelle Holloway.
Visitation for friends will be held Friday, September 4, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. First Baptist Church in Belzoni. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Trent Sligh officiating. Burial will follow at Greencrest Memorial Gardens. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.

Peggy will be remembered for her warm heart, her devotion to those she loved, and the steady kindness she showed throughout her life. Her memory will remain precious to all who knew and loved her.
