Peggy Spencer Morgan, 77, of Indianola, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 at her home. She was born in Anguilla and was the daughter of R. L. "Hank" Spencer and Emma Coleman Spencer. Peggy worked for 33 years as the office manager of Sunflower Compress Co. She then worked for Bell South for 15 years as a switchboard operator. For the last 17 years,Peggy worked as the receptionist for Community Bank. She was a member of Second Baptist Church.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Leo Morgan of Indianola; daughter, Christy Griffin of Indianola; step sons, Mark Morgan (Pam) of Cleveland, Larry Morgan of Manassas, VA, Craig Morgan (Jessica) of Hernando; brother, Reuben Spencer (Shirley) of Learned; sister, Elaine Campbell (Claude) of Starkville; grandchildren, Paisley Griffin and Nicholas Whitaker; step grandchildren, Josh Morgan (Whitney), Ashley Morgan Gilbert (Ed), Addyson Morgan, and Whitney Morgan; step great grandchildren, Brooklyn Grisham, Rivers Grisham, and Aniston Morgan; and a host of nieces and nephews. Peggy was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Burton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 11:00 am at Burton Funeral Home.
