Richard Melton Chisolm, 66, of Brandon and formerly of Moorhead, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, James E. Chisolm and Bertha Massey; and one brother, Edward Daniel Chisolm.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Darlene Stricklin Chisolm, of Brandon; two daughters, Jennifer Raymond and Amanda Spratley; Godson, Cody Bellipanni; four brothers, David Chisolm of Houston, Texas, Rodger Chisolm of Greenville, Dennis Chisolm of Lake City, Florida, and Lenny Chisolm of Magee; 8 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 28, 2021, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home, 1360 W. Government Street, Brandon, MS. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
