Richard Paul Danna, 76, of Inverness, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.

Richard was born December 1, 1947, in Greenville, Mississippi, to the late Amelia Mandolini Danna and Camillie Danna. He was a graduate of Greenville High School. Richard worked in the catfish industry for over 30 years. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his grandkids and family.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Charles Danna; and one sister, Rosemary Mitchell.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Yvonne Boutwell Danna of Inverness; son, David "D.P." (Shea) Danna of Inverness; three grandsons, Chandler (Daylen) Danna of Brandon, Houstin Danna of Inverness; and Steele Danna of Inverness; and one great granddaughter, Demi Grace Danna of Brandon.

The family will hold a visitation Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, at the home of D.P. and Shea Danna, 1405 Pond Avenue, Inverness, MS 38753. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
