Ricky Allen Pepper, 62, of Indianola, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Baptist East Medical Center in Memphis. Ricky was born in Indianola and was the son of Allen Plester and Kathryn Elizabeth Pepper.

Ricky worked for Wade Incorporated as a technician for more than 30 years. He enjoyed his work and the farmers loved him. He was a great man with a big heart and loved his family.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Debbie Pepper Leard. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Jessica Pepper of Indianola; daughters, DeAna Pepper of Chatsworth, Georgia, Elizabeth Pepper of Indianola; brother, Roy McCurdy and wife Bonnie of Oak Grove, Louisiana; sisters, Joan Pepper of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Annette Govero and husband Jeff of Cleveland, Tennessee; grandchildren, Nicholas Baker, Kaitlin Baker, Dylan Nichols, Tyson Nichols, Ronin Brock, Christy Nichols; great grandchild, Audrina Nichols; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 1, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. with burial following in Moorhead Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola is in charge of arrangements.
