Rita Joan Pepper, 64, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018. She was a parishioner at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen Pepper, Jr. and Kathryn Daves Pepper; sister, Debbie Leard; brother, Ricky Pepper and infant daughter, Becky Pepper. Survivors include her brother, Roy McCurdy and wife, Bonnie of Oak Grove, LA; sister, Annette Govero and husband, Jeff of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Jessica Pepper of Indianola, MS; nieces and nephews:Steve Pepper, Kathryn Leard and Lauren Leard, all of Moorhead, MS, Jeffery (Jessica) Govero and Jeremy Govero, all of Cleveland, DeAna (Jeff) Nichols of Chatsworth, GA, Elizabeth Pepper of Indianola, MS, Shane (Shannon) McCurdy and Roy (Cindy) McCurdy, all of Oak Grove, LA and Olivia (Jay) Caskey of Monroe, LA; and all her friends at staff at Orange Grove and Life Bridges. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church with Father Mike Nolan presiding. Her family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Moorhead Cemetery in Moorhead, MS.
