Robert Wayne Holloway, Jr., 'Robby', but known to most as PooTee, passed away peacefully at home early June 15th, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Robby was 53 years old.

Robby loved all sports, especially ones that Ole Miss was involved in. He attended many games at the University of Mississippi and didn't miss an event on television.  He also loved riding around in the country with his dad and Carlos and visiting at his uncle David's house almost daily.

The highlight of Robbie's life was when his father, Wayne, owned "Wayne 76 Gas Station" in the late 80s and early 90s. PooTee ran a tight ship; pumping gas and making sure everyone paid was his priority. The best part of his days was when all the "guys" dropped in to visit during lunch. This was the time in his life where many came to know and love Robbie.

Robbie was proceeded in death by his grandparents, W.T. Cochran and Sybil Woods Cochran of Vicksburg and Selma Quincy Holloway and Bessie Dubois Holloway of Belzoni.

Robbie is survived by his parents, Robert Wayne Holloway and Patricia Cochran Holloway of Belzoni; his sister, Toni Holloway Walker(Cory) of Belzoni; one nephew, Cade Francis of Leland; one niece, Mason Francis Smallwood (Justin) of Inverness; and one great nephew, Myles Royce Smallwood. In addition, Robbie has many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved and cared for him very much.

In Lou of flowers, the family wishes memorial donations, and Robbie's honor to First Baptist Church in Belzoni.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 11:00 AM until the 12:00 pm funeral service at First Baptist Church in Belzoni. Rev. George Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Greencrest Memorial Gardens in Belzoni. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
