Robert Elmer Price, Jr., 83, of Isola, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Bobby was born October 25, 1939, in Kilmichael, to Robert Elmer and Iris Manning Price. He was a United States Air Force veteran. Bobby was a self-employed truck driver until his retirement. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Belzoni where he served as a deacon and taught the Men's Sunday School Class. Bobby was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved woodworking and enjoyed making chairs and swings.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tammy Price Higginbotham; and two sisters, Dorothy Jean Lloyd and Lyda Lanell Causey.

He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 59 years, Bea Price, of Isola; daughter, Stephanie Price (Troy) Bergeron of Gluckstadt; and four grandchildren, Gray (Kity) Higginbotham, Daniel (Lauren) Higginbotham, Amy Bergeron (Ashley), and Chase Bergeron.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm, at First Baptist Church in Belzoni. The memorial service will begin at 1:00 pm with Rev. George Johnson officiating. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
