Graveside services for Ronald Cleveland Bowie, 71, of Jackson, and formerly of Indianola, will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, August 1, 2025, at Indianola City Cemetery with Dr. Guy Burke officiating.

Ronnie was born on October 16, 1953, in Greenville, to Skeets and Helen Denson Bowie. He passed away Monday, July 28, 2025, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Ronnie was raised in Indianola, where he graduated from Indianola Academy. He then earned his associate's degree at Mississippi Delta Junior College and his bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Southern Mississippi. Ronnie will always be remembered as a true southern gentleman. He liked the simple things in life. Ronnie enjoyed music, especially playing the guitar, working on computers, writing, and art.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Linda Bowie.

He is survived by two sisters, Lavonda Davis of Memphis and Gail Burgess (Harold) of Clarksdale, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
