Ronald "Ronny" Glenn Logan, age 80, of Belzoni, went to his eternal home on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. He was born to Ronald and Fannie Mae Logan of Inverness, Mississippi, on February 28, 1944.

Ronny was a member of First Baptist Church for many years. He and his wife, Sandy, were married in that same church in 1975. He was employed as a transportation engineer with MDOT for more than 50 years. Ronny was a hard worker, a devoted husband and father, and a caring uncle. He enjoyed reading, watching football and basketball, and engaging in conversation about all kinds of topics.

Ronny was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, and half-brother T. J. Jennings of Greenville, Mississippi. He is survived by his daughter, Carrie Logan of Petal; sisters-in-law Doris Jennings of Greenville; Peggy Duke of Isola, Nancy Baggett of Isola, Sue (Lonnie) Walker of Resaca, Georgia, and Kathy (George) Gardner of Isola; and many nieces and nephews he loved very much.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, at First Baptist Church in Belzoni. The memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. George Johnson officiating. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
