Rosa Guadalupe Ortega, 59, of Houma, Louisiana, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma.
Rosa, was born on February 11, 1959, in Rio Bravo, Tamps, Mexico, to Eugenio Reymundo and Guadalupe Rogue Ortega. She was a very loving and kind person.
Rosa was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her daughters, Cristela Delrio of Houma, Cristal Ortega of Houma; son, Ruben Joe Ortega, of Houston, Texas; sisters, Marra de Jesus Rodriguez, Sylvia Medina, Veronica Zapata, Maria del Carmen Medina; brother, Juan Antonio Medina and six grandchildren, Osvaldo Ortega, Leonardo Rivera, Charley Rivera, Mireya Delrio Cantalina Delrio, and Juvia Celeste Ruiz.
The family will have a private Funeral Mass Monday, August 13, 2018, at 9:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Indianola City Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
