Roy Lee "Fuzz" Farish, 86, of Greenville and formerly of Moorhead, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015 at his home. Mr. Farish, affectionately known as Fuzz, was born in Sunflower County, and was the son of Robert Buster and Ella Mae Farish. He worked for the Sunflower County Road Department for over 30 years until his retirement. Mr. Farish lived in Moorhead for 60 years until his move to Greenville in 2000. His love for his family, friends, and neighbors was evident every day. He held a special place in his heart for everyone in Moorhead. He was a member of Moorhead Baptist Church.

Mr. Farish was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James Farish, George Farish, and R.W. Farish; sisters, Jean Hollingsworth and Liz Dickey. He leaves to cherish his memory three brothers, Jack Farish (Rita) of Columbia, SC, Buster Farish (Brenda) of Moorhead, MS, John Farish (Phyllis) of Lake Village, AR; three sisters, Marie Thomas of Greenville, MS, Flo Johnson of Jackson, MS, Jo Weaver (Kermit) of Waynesboro, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service at Burton Funeral Home, Indianola. Interment will follow in Indianola City Cemetery, all under the direction of Burton Funeral Home. Bro. Ray Bridges, pastor of Moorhead Baptist Church, will officiate.
