Ruby Lee Taylor Foster, 92, of Isola, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021, at Oxford Health and Rehab in Oxford.

Ruby was born August 16, 1929, in Star, Mississippi, to Drewey Brown Taylor and Maudie Jackson Taylor. She was a seamstress for Jockey International for many years prior to her retirement. Ruby loved gardening and had a green thumb. She was well loved in the community. Ruby will be remembered for her kind heart and gentle spirit. Even while suffering from dementia, she was such a sweetheart that the aides at the nursing home would argue over who was going to take care of her.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Foster; sister, Doris Dorman; and son in law, Wiley Price.

She is survived by three children, Jean (Jeff) Gibson of Holly Springs, Sharon Price of Anguilla, and Carl Leslie Foster of Indianola; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 am, Monday, December 13, 2021, at Indianola City Cemetery with Rev. Millard Caulder officiating. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
