Ruth Webb Parr, 97, of Inverness and formerly of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at her home. Ruth was born May 20, 1919 in Lauderdale County, and was the daughter of Hunter Cecil and Lanelle Williams Webb. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian in Meridian. Her family will always remember her as being a wonderful artist.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hickman Parr; and one brother, Hunter C. Webb, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory son, Steven Parr and his wife Dorothy of Flora; daughter, Malinda Poindexter and husband Will Green of Inverness; grandchildren, Ben Parr and his wife Cathryn, Dr. Alex Parr and his wife Shannon, William Poindexter and his wife Bailey; and three great grandchildren.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
