Sandra Walker Logan, 73, of Belzoni, went to her eternal home on Saturday, February 12, 2022. Sandy was born to Monroe and Grace Walker of Isola, Mississippi, on January 4, 1949, in Belzoni. She was the sixth of eight daughters. Sandy married Ronald "Ronny" Logan on November 15, 1975.

She attended First Baptist Church and enjoyed helping out wherever needed. Her faith was the foundation of her life. Sandy was a devoted wife, loving mother with impeccable maternal instincts, and supportive sister and aunt.

Sandy is preceded in death by her parents Monroe and Grace Walker, sisters, Helen Lyle, Ellen (Ronald) Hudson, and Syble (John) Johnson, and brother-in-law Bud Duke.

She is survived by her husband, Ronny Logan of Belzoni; daughter, Carrie Logan of Petal; sisters, Peggy Duke of Isola, Nancy Baggett of Huntington Beach, California, Sue (Lonnie) Walker of Resaca, Georgia, Kathy (George) Gardner of Isola; and many nieces and nephews she loved very much.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 18, 2022, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, at First Baptist Church in Belzoni. The memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. George Johnson officiating. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church or "Turn on the Tap" charity.
