Sandra Joy McClain Allen, 60, of Indianola died Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Joy was born October 12, 1956 in Indianola and was the daughter of John King McClain and Mathelene Holmes McClain. Joy was a member of Mt. Zion Church of God in Indianola. She worked in food service for many years at Burger King and Double Quick. Joy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayman Allen; and brother, Frankie McClain. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Cammillya Allen of Indianola; son, Wayman Allen, II of Indianola; brother, Wayne McClain and his wife Judy of Winston, Georgia; and five grandchildren, Brice Allen, Quida Rees, William Sumrall, Wayman Allen, III and Timber Allen.  The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm funeral service at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola.
