Sharon Toler Grissette, 63, of Vaiden, passed away Friday, May 31, 2024, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Sharon was born October 27, 1960, in Bolivar County, to Bobby Ray Toler, Sr. and Ella Mae Marquis Toler. She was raised in Shaw where she was a member of Interstate Baptist Church. Sharon was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed being outside working in the yard or fishing. Sharon also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and cross-stitching. She could do just about anything she set her mind to. Sharon pretty much kept to herself. She loved living by her parents because she was always a daddy's baby.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ella Mae and Bobby Toler, Sr.; husband, Joe Grissette, Jr.; and two daughters, Katrina Gibson and Kristen Kelley Evans.

Sharon is survived by her son, John Kelley of Shaw; brother, Bobby Toler, Jr. (Sandra) of Vaiden; five grandchildren; and aunt, Rita Treadwell.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2024, from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm funeral service at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will follow in Roundaway Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
