Stella Tadlock Lomax, 68, of Greenville and formerly of Isola, passed away peacefully Monday, May 29, 2017 at Washington Care Center in Greenville.
She was born March 31, 1949 in Isola, and was the daughter of William Jackson Tadlock and Exie Estelle Criddle Tadlock. Mrs. Lomax worked at Humphreys County Hospital as LPN for 31 years until her retirement. She was a member of God's Harvest Church of God and was a devout Christian.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Ray Obe Lomax; three sisters, Della Mae Blount, Estelle Tharp, and Mavis White; and four brothers, Bobby Joe Tadlock, Jimmy Tadlock, Jerry Wayne Tadlock, and BoBee Tadlock.
Mrs. Lomax leaves to cherish her memory four sisters, Diane Tadlock Lloyd of Greenville, Margie Smith of Sidon, Dorothy George of Raymond and Verlie Alexander of Greenville; two brothers, Charles Tadlock of Corpus Christi, Texas and Bill Tadlock of Euharlee, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm funeral service at God's Harvest Church Of God, 611 Marie Avenue, Indianola, MS. Burial will follow in Caile Cemetery in Caile, MS. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola is in charge of arrangements.
