Obituary

Steve Norman Grisham, 57, of Belzoni, Mississippi, passed away on September 7, 2025, in the mountains of Arkansas.

Born on October 18, 1967, in Belzoni, Steve was the son of the late Glen Rex Grisham and Doris Childs Grisham of Belzoni, MS.

Steve was a devoted husband to Angela Anthony Grisham, a loving father to Lauren (Wes) Strowd, Stephen (Sydney) Grisham, and Meagan Grisham, and a proud "Papa Steve" to Anna- Riffey, Mary Ryan, Ann-Wesley, and Caroline. He was a stepfather to Amber (Laurence) Swindell and "Paw-Paw Steve" to Jordyn (Dylan) Smith and Aniston Swindell, and a great-grandfather to Joshua. He was also a beloved brother to Sandra (Tim) Abney, Jimmy (Kori) Grisham, and the late Bobby Grisham, and "Uncle Steve" to Brandon Abney, Brittany Eaton, Layne Marie Eaton, Daultyn (Alyssa) Grisham, Wraythe Grisham, Kaylie Grisham, and Ashton Grisham.

He loved his family deeply and cherished every moment with them. An avid outdoorsman, Steve enjoyed time at his home in Belzoni and his cabin in Arkansas. He was passionate about music, flying his airplane, deer hunting, taking daily bike rides, and working out at the gym.
Steve also had a keen interest in politics and business, often engaging in spirited conversations. He lived his life with strong faith and a determined work ethic, guided by the words of Dave Ramsey: "Pray like it all depends on God, but work like it all depends on you." Steve will be remembered for his love of family, his passion for the outdoors, and his unwavering commitment to living life fully.
