Tammy Geneva Bramlett Smithhart, 61, of Inverness, passed away Friday, May 3, 2019 at South Sunflower County Hospital in Indianola.

She was born October 10, 1957 in Randolph, Mississippi. Tammy worked for AT&T in cellular sales for 16 years prior to her retirement due to health. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Inverness, and she dearly loved her church. Tammy was always happy and always smiling. She will be remembered as a wonderful friend. Tammy was an avid Ole Miss fan and enjoyed going to games with her husband as her health permitted. She enjoyed cooking and was a wonderful cook.

Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, and numerous brothers and sisters; and step-daughter, JoAnna Smithhart.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy Smithhart of Inverness; step-daughter, Holly Smith and her husband Matthew of Oxford; niece, Holly Bramlett of Inverness; and three step-grandchildren, JoAnna Smith, Ava Ruth Smith, and Camille Smith all of Oxford.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Inverness with Rev. Bryan Burge officiating. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
