Thomas Elzie Lyons, Jr., 52, of Indianola, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021, in Indianola. Thomas, affectionately known as Bubba or MacGyver, was born December 20, 1968, in Greenville, to Thomas Elzie Lyons and Brenda Joyce Wablington. He was a mechanic for Greenville Forklift. Bubba would help anybody if he could. He loved spending time with his family and working on anything, especially cars. Bubba was preceded in death by his sister, Toni Lyons Griffin. He is survived by his wife, Candi Boyles Lyons of Indianola; parents, Thomas and Brenda Lyons of Indianola; three daughters, Leeanna Lyons of Oklahoma, Megan Smith of Schlater, and Ariel Springer of Roundaway; one brother, Kenny (Jennifer) Lyons of Wayside; brother-in-law, Carl Ray Griffin of Indianola; four grandchildren, Tyler Perrigin, Carl Smith, River Ware, and Sadie Smith; and tons of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 1, 2021, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
