Timothy Nathaniel Downs, 32, of Schlater, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024, in Schlater.

Timothy was born on January 27, 1992, to Bobby Joe Downs and Luronica Barnett Horne. He worked as an auto mechanic. Timothy was a sweet person and was very kind. He would help anyone out when he could. Timothy enjoyed working on things, grilling, watching television, and spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by his father, Bobby Joe Downs of Schlater; mother, Luronica Barnett Horne (Donald) of Doddsville; three sisters, Sandra Patterson (Marcus), Rebecca Horne, and Robin Horne, all of Doddsville; three nieces; and two nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
