Tomas "Rusty" Russell Walker, 73, of Inverness, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Indianola Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

Rusty was born August 29, 1950, in Memphis, Tennessee to Hilton and Anna Walker. Rusty spent all of his childhood and adult life in Inverness where he made this his home prior to relocating to Indianola due to his health. He was a very caring and genuine person who enjoyed everyone he met. Rusty loved Garfield the cat as well as listening to Alan Jackson and other country music singers. Rusty was Presbyterian and was strong in his faith.

Rusty was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Michael James Walker.

He is survived by his lifetime caregiver and friend, Betty Towery of Inverness and two cousins.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 4:00PM, at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Inverness, Mississippi. Rev. Watson Cook will officiate.
